This is the second year poultry classes have been run at Castlewellan Show. and they managed to double the entry. A fine selection of birds attracted an admiring crowd of onlookers. Patricia Swandell took a number of prizes but the stiff competition mean't that the honours were spread out among a number of competitors, most notably Ryan Liggett in the waterfowl classes. Judge for the Hard Feather classes was Gareth Ingram and for the Soft Feather and Duck was Jimmy Crawford Many thanks to the sponsors, the McElroy family and Martin Ball from Dromara, John McCartan from Bryansford, and Quail's Butchers from Dromore
